They say that every picture is worth a thousand words. Sounds like a bunch of photography industry propaganda hoo-hah to me. Might as well say "Diamonds Are Forever". Anyway, here are some pictures of my grandfather's ol' bassett hound. She was once hit by a Cadillac.  She dented it, slept for a few days, and then was just fine. Basset hounds are a noble breed, be they big and fat or little and fat. Be they bassett or basset. Be they hungry or almost hungry.
